I believe there is a good and bad side of the world that can only been seen through photographs. I find myself picking up my camera and chasing some image that will change the way people think and feel about life as well as the way we see things and treat people. My influences have come from so many different directions in life I don’t see any straight path towards a specific style or look. Photography is a balance between luck and finding the perfect moment which encapsulates an object, event, or place in the world. So often memories become lost in the busy world we live in and it’s easy to forget things that have happened in our lives. One simple way of revisiting these moments is through photographs.

The phrase “Milk Sweet Life” is like a gospel for making the most out of our lives and the things we see. I understand that the moments of history will forever shape the minds of those that are aware of it. I find it important to leave viewers with something on their mind. These photos give you a glimpse of what I see and experience on a daily basis; as well as an opportunity to find a connection or a new perspective.

Wyatt's Manifesto

LOOK ALL AROUND YOU, SOAK IN THE UNLIMITED AMOUNTS OF INSPIRING COLORS, FORMS, SOUNDS, SMELLS, AND LIGHTS. DO NOT LOOK FOR SOME NEW WAY TO MAKE OTHERS LOVE YOU. INSTEAD LOOK FOR NEW WAYS TO MAKE YOU LOVE YOURSELF. LOOK FOR NEW WAYS TO LOVE WHAT YOU DO AND CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO CREATE FOR YOU. DO NOT REACH FOR THE STARS; RATHER SHOOT FOR THE MOON SO THAT YOU CAN LOOK BACK ON THIS WORLD AND SEE A FOOTPRINT YOU’VE MADE BY INFLUENCING NEW WAVES. WAVES CERTAINLY DIE DOWN, BUT THEY ALWAYS KEEP COMING. THE GRAVITY OF YOUR INNER INTERESTS SHOULD BE THE DRIVING FORCE THAT PUSHES YOUR NEW WAVES.

ART IS NOT AND ART IS; IT IS NOT A MERE WAY TO SET YOURSELF APART FROM THE “NON-CREATIVES” BUT RATHER A WAY TO BRING EVERYONE TOGETHER. IT IS A VEHICLE IN WHICH YOU AS THE DRIVER PICK UP OTHERS ON YOUR JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF CREATIVITY AND DROP THEM OFF AT THEIR OWN DESTINATIONS WITHIN THAT LAND.

MAKING ART SHOULD COME FROM THE INSIDE; WHEN YOU LOOK AT A CANVAS AND SIMPY CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO, JUST STEP BACK. CONCEPTS SHOULD BE FREE FLOWING; CREATING ART SHOULD NEVER BE A BURDEN. THE LONG HOURS OF LABOR AND BRAINSTORMING ARE WAYS TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF AS A HUMAN. YOU WILL FACE MANY CHALLENGES THROUGHOUT YOUR TIME MAKING ART; BUT KNOW THAT IF YOU CHANNEL THAT DRIVE YOU HAVE FOR DOING SOMETHING THAT YOU WILL LOVE, GOOD THINGS WILL COME.

ALONG THE WAY YOU MIGHT WONDER IF YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES. YOU MIGHT QUESTION IF YOU WERE EVEN BORN WITH THE ABILITIES TO CREATE. WE ALL HAVE THE ABILITIES TO CREATE IN SOME WAY. FIND YOUR NICHE, FIND WHAT MAKES YOU WHO YOU ARE AND REFLECT THAT THROUGH YOUR WORK.

UNDERSTAND THAT YOU DO NOT ALWAYS NEED TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF.

YOUR WORK IS YOUR WORK, WHY YOU DO WHAT IT IS YOU DO DOESN’T ALWAYS NEED A RESPONSE. SOMETIMES THE WORK YOU MAKE WILL DEFINE ITSELF LATER AND BECAUSE IT CAME FROM THE HEART, YOU KNOW IT IS PURE.
